ChemFriends....Making the Connection

Think products. Think chemistry. And make the connection. That´s just what they´re doing down in Ascension Parish, Louisiana with an exciting effort called ChemFriends.

ChemFriends is designed to take the mystery out of chemistry through “hands-on” experiments. ChemFriends helps make the connection between the chemical manufacturing process and the products we use everyday.

Held each Fall, ChemFriends is a two day expo for teachers, students and the community. In addition to all of the experiments, it also shows students what they need to do to prepare for a career in chemistry.

Chemistry touches every part of our lives, and events like ChemFriends help make that connection.
